Sorry to hear you have a little spot on battery. Which doesn't really affect anything and there is no need for such frustration over a little issue. Got a best price possible and way below market, still grumpy.... You do not have worry about buying from us in future. you are already blocked for life on all accounts. I would also recommend to other seller to block a guy, unless you want to hear such complains

Usually I would simply write a negative review for a seller whose product and service was as bad as this one's, but seeing that he wants to tell others to block me and not sell to me I will go the extra mile. He has sent me unlabeled batteries, the box from USPS had no labels for batteries either. He sent them across state lines. He most likely lied to the US postal service about the package content. My advice to him is run. I will be reporting him to USPS and the federal government.

Good drives, but pretty much obsolete
This is probably one of the fastest mechanical hard drives you can get, even today (the newer generation is likely marginally faster, but this is close). However, it is still a mechanical hard drive, and as such, SSDs will still easily beat its performance. However, if you can't afford an SSD, then this is a great choice for a budget computer. It's certainly fast enough for modern usage, 300 GB isn't tiny, and they can be very cheap used (like this listing). It is a SATA drive (not SAS), so it should fit in any modern desktop computer. Note, however, that this is NOT a laptop drive - it will NOT fit in a laptop, and even if you manage to do so, it will NOT work in a laptop as it requires 12V. A desktop computer provides this, so it will work in one of those. You can also expect this ... There is most likely a similar utility on Windows. The drive also runs quite hot, but in my testing has not reached the maximum allowed operating temperature. If it does become an issue, a small amount of airflow over the drive should handle it.

Great hard drive.
This drive is very fast. It keeps up with the power thayt I am subjecting it to. I am running an AMD 8150 8 core processor overclocked, 32GB of DDR3 memory, 1000 watt power supply, Gigabyte UD7 motherboard, and 4 large external hard drives for pictures and CAD storage. The drive has not missed a beat yet. Impressive! I will probably purchase more of these drives just to have on hand when I need a new drive for one of my monster machines.This drive is very fast. I put it in a desk top and trippled the speed of my computer. Being WD I expect it to last a good while. Got to love the speed. I did have to provide extra cooling though.
