    Great book for knitting men's sweaters

    I mistakenly gave my original copy away so getting a new copy for a special project was a must. I won't make that mistake again. If you're looking for good knitting projects for the men in your life, this book is a must. The fact that the pattern directions are easy to read and follow also makes Simply Beautiful Sweaters For Men a must have in my library.

    is there a recognised problem with cable scarf? HELP!

    i agree with the reviewers assessment of the books visuals ,but i wonder how many of the projects they have completed . i would,for instance, invite the attention of an experienced knitter toward the pattern for the cable scarf. instructions say to repeat twist every 24 rows,yet when doing so it in no way resembles the cables in the photo,where it appears to be closer to 12 rows apart i went so far as to count the rows in the photo with a magnifying glass, no way 24 rows,i love almost all the projects in this book but am reluctant to start anything else without conformation of reliable instructions. errors in knitting books seem to be an ever increasing problem with no real assurances of better quality control in the future.

    This book is a wonderful addition to your collection. Most projects are done with exquisite yarns. It is very Technical and visual at the same time. You will enjoy the pictures and the stories on some of the projects. It is a great book for anyone who loves Knitting.
