Part Three, Victory in the Pacific - 1944-45 witnesses American troops turning the tide of war at such locales as the Philippines, the Battle of Leyte Gulf, Tinian, Saipan and Okinawa. Part Four, Crucial Turning Points, follows the story of 15 battles that turned the tide of World War II, utilizing such elements as archival footage of battles, rare color film, and declassified files.

    Dissapointed with the quality of the films, so far.

    I have just watched the 1st 2 DVD's and the QUALITY of the pictures is very poor. I realize that the pictures and films are very old (from the late 30's and the 40's) but I would have liked to see better quality in the films. DVD #2 started off with almost a duplication of DVD #1. Hopefully I will see better quality in the films in DVD's 3 through 6..
