    The Christmas Cat, by Efner Tudor Holmes

    This is a charming, heart-warming story, especially appropriate for Christmas. It is also extremely appealling to an ailurophile (cat-lover), and one who volunteers with her local Humane Society. We take in, at all times of the year, many cats and dogs who have been surrendered, abandoned (like the cat in the story), abused, or who are simply strays. And they stay with us until they find homes; we do not put them down. It is always wonderful to see one -- especially one who has been with us for a long time -- find a new person (or family) and very happily go home. So I love this book -- and Tasha Tudor's illustrations are, as always, wonderful. Thank you, Julie Anna Schultz, of Book Jewels For Children! Have a wonderful Holiday Season! Sincerely, Cory Kelly
