Seller Notes: “CONDITION: V+ Live ORIGINAL jazz recording by PAPA CELESTIN'S TUXEDO JASS BAND a few years before ... “CONDITION: V+ Live ORIGINAL jazz recording by PAPA CELESTIN'S TUXEDO JASS BAND a few years before Celestin's death on the rarish New Orleans BANDWAGON label that released only 12 records between 1951 and 1952 that had all been recorded one year before in 1950 at The Dixieland Jambake live broadcasted at WDSU with DJ Roger Wolfe -- a sort of Battle of the Bands with competing bands having airtime to showcase their individual styles -- here we have Celestin's crew with a great rendition of "OH, DON'T HE RAMBLE" with Celestin vocals and "LIL' LIZA JANE" a nice clean record was released on BANDWAGON #6 a 10" 78 rpm original record -- please see photos for overall condition.”
