Fast shipping, well packaged!. Unfortunately i couldn't get unit to work because it was made obsolete from Roku. ( My fault for not researching more)

2012 i7quad-core Mac Mini server. fast and small that outlast every pc... go apple!!! Date03/08/2018!!

I had been using a quad-core hackintosh to edit video with Final Cut Pro and wanted an inexpensive way to migrate to Apple hardware. I was skeptical about the power of the Mac Mini simply because it's so small. However, the Geekbench scores on the 2012 quad-core Mac Minis are fantastic, so I gave it a shot and have been VERY happy with this little machine. While the included hard drives are not the fastest, I haven't had any trouble working with lots of 720P and 1080P video. Scrubbing through hours of footage on the Mini is easy and the system doesn't break a sweat during editing sessions. The two areas that you can see Final Cut Pro X tax a computer is during initial clip analysis and also while exporting video. I was wondering how the Mini would deal with the high CPU loads during these ...

  • Its an Apple!

I believe Apple pioneered the small form factor and still evolving into a better platfform with each build. I started with the 2nd gen mac mini (2007?) and only got the mid 2010 to bump up the performance. I still use both, a testament to Apple's good design and build quality.

  • Fantastic value, a fraction of the cost of latest models but works great!

My 2006 Macbook is becoming obsolete and I wanted a faster new platform cable of running the newest OS. The 2010 Mac Mini Server is not the latest model but cost me a fraction of the cost of buying new. And it came loaded with software and games, a really great bargain. I can't think of anything I dislike about it, as it has become my primary Mac computing system. It's compact and easy to use, has most of the same features of the latest model, and is used daily. I feel it was an excellent purchase on my part and would certainly do so again if necessary.

  • Good little computer.

The 2010 model still holds up in 2020. It is a bit slow with the original 2gb of ram it came with. With a ram upgrade that takes 15 minutes and no tools this thing will run very fast. I put two sticks of compatible 8gb ram in it and it runs faster than my brand new gaming PC.

  • BACK-UP

AS THE OWNER OF A MID 2010 MAC MINI, WOULD RECOMMEND THE MAC MINI TO PEOPLE WHO NEED A GOOD USED COMPUTER. HAVE HAD MY MAC MINI AND TRUST IT FULLY. GREAT SPEED, PLENTY OF STORAGE; AND THE MAC JUST SEEMS TO GO ON. I PURCHASED THIS UNIT AS A BACK- UP FOR MYSELF OR MY SON, WHO ALSO USED A MAC MINI. KEEP ON MACING. JACK
