Compact and easy to install. .
I like this unit but initially thought it was much Hader to activate with you shooting hand when a subcompact was used. The issue was less leverage because with larger hands your pinky was under the grip So I purchased a grip extension which solved the problem with leverage. Activating the unit require one third oh the effort from my shooting side. What I would have like was a green laser option as well as the laser being above the light as opposed to the current design that has it under the light (father away from bore). And since we are talking about this a 150 lumens light instead of 100 lumens is a wish. Not sure how the affects size or battery life however. Worth the Money & Brighter than you'd expect
At first the lumen output seemed low and made me uninterested for a while; however, I bought it with faith that Streamlight made this quality like my pen light I've had for more than 5 years. And faith came through. It really is a nice little setup. Looks nice on the gun and functionality is nice as well. Ambidextrous buttons are momentary on if you press & hold. On/off with a press. And going to different modes is as easy as holding either side button and then pressing the other button to change modes. The mode it is left on will be the new default. I wouldn't be sitting here writing this review if it wasn't something I'm not impressed by. Its 130 bucks. Nice Light/Laser
The TLR-6 is the best looking pistol light on the market in my opinion. It's sleek and lightweight, and it just looks like it belongs on the gun. There are definitely others that will out-perform the TLR-6, but it all depends on what you want in a light. The only downfall to this light is that if you put it on a full size firearm which it is made for, you will have difficult time finding a holster for it. Crossbreed is the most reasonable at around $50...other custom Kydex holsters will cost about $100 for a full size weapon. However, if you are attaching it to a compact firearm, you will have no problem finding many Kydex holster options. The TLR-6 is the best looking pistol light on the market in my opinion. I LOVE MY TLR-6
Ive been looking for the perfect light/laser sight and ive found it in the TLR-6. The light is only 100 Lumens but that's plenty brite for home defense. You can use the light and the laser together which would be my choice for home defense at night or use just the light or laser. This model is a perfect stream line fit for my Springfield XD MOD2 Sub Compact 45 and it is affordable between $92.99 and $99.00. Plus it only took 5 minutes to install it. I've only had it one day so i still have to sight it in but that should be a breeze.Ive been looking for the perfect light/laser sight and ive found it in the TLR-6.
