Great junior high level account of the mighty Bismarck and her lone expedition, her triumph over the vaunted Hood, and her doom at the hands of most of the British battle fleet. Told from the perspectives of three ratings, and the highest ranking officer surviving, it is good reading; well-balanced, although I would like to have had more on Kapitan Lindemann, with whose niece I had the pleasue of sharing a morning neawrly 20 years ago in Philadelphia. Anyway, readily worth the price; I plan to give it as a gift to a student.

I bought this book for my son who has taken this book out of the school library every chance he gets. It has a lot of pictures, stories about being on the boat and great combination of historical facts and story telling.
Just what I enjoy
