It is cute, but it is VERY MISLEADING to call this a cuckoo clock- there is no cuckoo, it makes no sound and does not play music. It is just a clock as a cuckoo clock has a cuckoo! None here, this clock is completely silent (which can be a plus if you want to put it in a bedroom or your office at work). The weather house function is very low tech, but they work surprisingly well. There is some wood, but most of it is made of some sort of hard fiberboard or cardboard type stuff and it is screen printed, not hand printed. The figures are plastic. It keeps time well, most any dollar store quartz clock will too. It's small, will not take up a lot of space. You buy this for the cuteness factor and guests will certainly comment on it. I like it, it's colorful and the swinging girl pendulum is cute, but unless you really like how it looks, it's not worth the price.Read full review
