    Arris NVG468MQ

I purchased this as a direct replacement for the Arris NVG468MQ Frontier uses so that I wouldn't have to pay the monthly gateway change. So far it's performed flawlessly and is handling my internet access needs with no difficulties. It's easy to use and the user GUI is very navigable. If I have any criticism of the unit it's that there are only two time out choices (twenty and sixty minuets) to "remote in" the gateway for outside the LAN. I'd like to see the manufacture either provide more choices of longer times or the ability to leave it on indefinitely.

  • Nice MoCA Router

This is a feature rich MoCA router. Allows me to extend my lan over coax to my upstairs bedroom. It is unbonded so it will max out at around 600mbps (75MBps) through MoCA. Still pretty quick for connecting to my NAS from my desktop. You do not need to be on Fronteir internet to use this router. The DNS by default is configured for Fronteir and so is some of the WAN configuration but I am using it with a custom hosted DNS from my Raspberry Pi. Setting static IPs is a pain in the but, but is also possible. If you are looking for a killer and cheap MoCA router look no further. If you are not sure what MoCA is then this is probably not for you.

  • Ziplyfiber replacement router

Perfect replacement. Brand new, plugged in and running with no problem. Returning Ziply's router to save rental fees. Required tech to come and replace the ancient ONT which was limiting speeds. Speeds nearly 100 up and down, mid nineties. Very pleased.

  • Solid Router for the money and has MOCA adapter !!

This is pretty current equipment for Frontier services 2020, it also came with MOCA adapter... I was renting the exact same equipment for 10 bucks a month, bought this at a great price, installed easy myself, boxed up rental equipment and ready for the run around with Frontier not renting anymore... I have read they will kick and scream and still charge you Router rental even if you dont use their Router, the logic is they spent the time during install to set up stuff, and that is what you are paying for... :/ . I am getting my ducks in a row before I change my plan on Frontier , then will hit them with the modem rental non sense.... Plus also, you can use this modem as an extender and on other services if you like.... Solid router....

  • Good modem for Frontier fios

This is the exact model that Frontier provided. I am sure there are better routers but this does the job. I also added a Arris MEB1100 MoCa to ethernet bridge. I put another MoCa for the TV so that I have very constant internet speeds for streaming. Everything works great and it will save on the equipment rental.
