Excellent German seller, delivery takes a while but within the stated dates, worth the wait. I was a bit sceptical about ordering from Germany with vague conditions listed but I shouldn't have been worried. The record and sleeve were in excellent condition. Plays perfectly both sides. There was a couple of stickers on the cover but they came off without leaving any mess, one older sticker took the sheen off the sleeve where it had been but it's not bad. Would certainly recommend this seller

  • A Reimagining of the Bond Classics.

Being a massive Bond fan, and loving all the classic theme tunes, I decided to add David Arnold's 1997 covers CD to my collection. Since Tomorrow Never Dies, David Arnold has been the main composer for the 007 epics, but it all started with this compiliation of Bond covers by contemporary artists. The highlight of the collection is undoubtedly Propellerheads's version of On Her Majesty's Secret Service, which proved to be a number 7 hit in the UK. Space March from Leftfield, Aimee Mann's Nobody Does it Better, and Pulp's take on All Time High. However, the inclusion of LTJ Bukem's version of The James Bond Theme was a major mistake. It is a decent piece of Drum'n'Bass, but bears no resemblence whatsoever to the piece of music we know and love. ...

  • Stirred, not shaken.

When I first put this CD on, I was dissapointed. Shirley Bassey has a much better 'revamped' version of Diamonds Are Forvere on her Remix album, and I'm sorry to say that the singer here just doesn't measure up. The rest of the album is fortunately a lot better. The combination with Leftfield on Space March is a charm. But just as with the regular James Bond soundtracks, the best songs are from the movie On Her Majesty's Secret Service. Though a little long (over ten minutes), OHMSS featuring Propellerheads never gets boring and is simply a great tune. And Iggy Pop on the song We Have All The Time In The World sounds absolutely great. All in all, this compilation of Bond remixes isn't for everybody. Naturally it helps if you enjoy all things Bond, but ...

  • Shaken & Stirred? - Not quite.....

I originally bought this beacuase of my love for most of the bond songs and when I heard about this album from the television I immeadiatly began to saerch for it. But once it had been delivered, not only did I discover there were hardly any songs on the album (something I should have checked first, I admit it) but they were also very poor versions of the songs apart from the odd one or two. I was shocked that such an excellent list of musical artists could create such a mediocre album. However David arnolds contribution cannot be flawed and the same can be said with the 'Diamonds are Forever' track. Apart from that I thought the whole Idea of remakes were to make a thing better. If you're a bond addict, no doubt you may love this album, but personally, I would keep to ...

  • Shaken & Stirred

I love this album. No wonder David Arnold had composed so many of the more recent Bond films with music like this, that really captures a pure, ingenious sense of Bond, but in a unique, exciting and interesting way. Buy this! Its worth it!
