Product Information

Sinatra: In Concert at Royal Festival Hall presents Frank Sinatra's 1971 special, which also features musical director Bill Miller and an introduction by Princess Grace of Monaco, who was Sinatra's co-star in the film High Society. His renditions of "Didn't We," "I Have Dreamed," "One for My Baby," and "You Make Me Feel So Young" display his technical and emotional maturity as a singer approaching 60. The only drawback to this DVD is its uneven sound quality; some slight distortion occurs occasionally when Sinatra hits a high note. The lack of extra DVD features is also somewhat disappointing, yet Sinatra: In Concert at Royal Festival Hall should please fans looking to revisit one of his better later performances. ~ Heather Phares

    Frank Sinatra Video

    I'm sorry to say this was NOT Sinatra at his best. He stumbled a few times on stage and forgot the lyrics to some of his songs. It looked like he either had jet lag or a hang-over. The sound from the orchestra was poor, too. You can actually hear the banging of the snare drum over Sinatra's singing. The funny thing was, Sinatra actually made a few comments about it. I bought the video beause the price was reasonable.

    Only one Sinatra!

    If Elvis was the king of rock and Michael, the king of pop, then Francis Albert Sinatra was truly the king of swing! Long live the king!
