He argues that Evangelicalism arose as a counter movement to historical-critical scholarship in the 18th century. Therefore, it cannot be considered as an isolated phenomenon of later times. By applying the term 'theologically conservative', he explores a fruitful approach in the study of this movement. German description: Im Gegensatz zu bisherigen Untersuchungen entwickelt Jorg Breitschwerdt die Genese der evangelikalen Bewegung nicht nur im Zusammenhang mit der Bultmann-Kontroverse seit 1941, sondern setzt sie in einen grosseren Zusammenhang. Insbesondere der Blick auf theologische Auseinandersetzungen des 19. Jahrhunderts liefert erstaunliche theologische und strukturelle Parallelen. Was waren die theologischen Anliegen der "theologisch konservativen" Bewegungen beider Jahrhunderte und wie lassen sich diese systematisieren? Breitschwerdt verdeutlicht, dass die evangelikale Bewegung besser im Kontext einer "theologisch konservativen" Bewegung zu verstehen ist, die sich wahrend des 18. Jahrhunderts im Gegenuber zu einer vor allem durch die Entwicklung der historisch-kritischen Methode hervorgetretenen "modernen Theologie" gebildet hat. Als isoliertes Phanomen des 20. Jahrhunderts kann die evangelikale Bewegung daher nicht gesehen werden. Die Studie tragt dazu bei, den Konservativismus-Begriff aus der Profangeschichte (Valjavec, Epstein, Kondylis) fur die Kirchengeschichte fruchtbar zu machen und einer immer mehr zu beobachtenden Begriffsverwirrung zu begegnen.

Ok so I ordered this item listed as having free shipping. It was listed at $43.54 with free shipping. Somehow I ended up being charged $65.52. Then after waiting 3 weeks and having absolutely no tracking information I spoke with the seller who agreed to send a replacment, but despite charging me extra money was unwilling to ship that replacment in a way that wouldn't take atleast 3 more weeks. Ultimately this was a complete waste of time and the seller is not one that I would recommend.

This is not a coloring book!!!!! It’s just a book of black and white photos and even if colored over would look horrible! This book is a scam and I have received 2 items out of 3 I ordered and the third hasn’t even been shipped. Tried to message seller but only option given is to send the item number but no way to give reason for dissatisfaction with item! I would advise not ordering anything from this seller…
