Musically, this is an excellent album, by a woman, Paula Cole, who has some hit songs (but whose nameisn't well known). "This Fire", produced in the 90's, is a tribute to woman who feel slighted by men, everywhere. In fact, if you want a short course on "Women's Issues" and why they feel the way they do--listen to this album. It is beautiful, haunting, and one of the angriest laments sung by a woman that I've heard (in fact, it left me wondering if Paula Cole is a heterosexual...anymore).Musically, this is an excellent album, by a woman, Paula Cole, who has some hit songs (but whose nameisn't well known). "This Fire", produced in the 90's, is a tribute to woman who feel slighted by men, everywhere. Pretty good
Never really listened to Paul Cole until I bought this album. She has a good way with words and getting you to feel her anger and emotions. Some of her songs can be a hit or miss. It is all about personal taste. "Feelin Love" is extremely erotic, while "I dont want to wait" is more of a known song among the teenage crowd. Definitely worth listening to.
