The delivery was really fast compared to my estimate. Thought it would take at last a month. Only took a little over a week or two. Quite pleased with the fast delivery. It was packaged in a plastic container. It was split with small foam square (as showen in my picture). There were to small bags of thermal paste aswell - quite Nice. Installed it today and it seems to work perfectly with no issues. Everything was easy and as should be when you buy an item. I recommand the seller.

    Alienware M15X Upgrade

    I upgraded my Alienware M15X with this CPU. The upgrade was easy, simply plug and play. My Windows Experience Index score on the CPU went up from 7.1 to 7.4. What ever that means, all I know is that it's a plus.

    Totally pleased with my end-results using Intel's i7-940XM mobile processor

    I've had multiple laptops and i've tested numerous CPU's on them and by far this has been my best experience yet on a laptop. I previously owned Intel's Core i7 720QM CPU, but even with all that capacity for multitasking and performance, i still needed a little bit more power, being a power user and all, so i decided to go straight to the maximum with my laptop's capabilities. By far, this is the best investment i have made for my laptop in conjunction with Arctic Silver 5 to keep it cool and help it last me a long time. If, like me, you're a laptop power-user or gamer by heart and you lack the monetary power to invest in those Sager's or Alienware's out there, let me tell you, putting this baby inside your laptop is the next best thing you can do. I'm happy with my investment and i bet ...

    BAD ASS

    I installed the i7-940xm into an alienware M15X. posted first try and runs better than expected. Overclocked it with throttlestop to 3.1Ghz constant at 65tdp and it just screams. With the HD 7970m I installed I play all the latest games on HIGH settings at 60fps. I also use this little laptop for video editing and studio recording and it works like a charm!! Very happy!
