Great quality and build. Very minor assembly required. The packaging could be a little bit better. Mine showed up with several holes in the box and the large spear and one one of the small spears loose and coming out of the package. Thankfully I wasn't any pieces! Loaded my first 5 large round hay bales with it already and am very pleased. I even sent a link for the eBay site to the person buying the hay as they wanted to know where I purchased the unit from.Great quality and build. Very minor assembly required. Didn't work until i welded a new loop on it.
I purchased this to go on my Kubota 7040 tractor with the quick connect front end loader. The spear was to small to fit on the tractor and trying to get it on one of the connection slots bent. we could never get the quick connect to line up and it was because the angled support was welded to close to the back. Also one of the bottom spears bent when we tried to force it on. I had to weld new loops on it to get it to work. The literature needs to have more dimension on it because what they provide should have worked, if i had known the depth i wouldn't have ordered it.I purchased this to go on my Kubota 7040 tractor with the quick connect front end loader. It just fit safely on my 75XT Skid Steer.
We have a 75xt Skid Steer and it doesn't fix our tractor. The holes for the lockdown pegs don't line up correctly, we have to make bigger holes. We are able to use it, it works great but we have to be cautious.

Great product!! Well made and works exactly as described. One note: the bolts used to hold the small spears in place are easily broken off. I did not even realize I was tightening it to much until it just broke off. At least it was in and I have no need to remove it anyway.

In the end it was worth it.
The spacing was to narrow top to bottom for our skid loader's quick attach plate so it did not sit flat enough for the pins to lock it in place. We had to torch off and reposition the lower brackets to allow the attachment to sit flat against the skid loaders quick attach plate allowing the pins to engage and locking the bale spear in place. very much a hassle but it works great now. the price off this The spacing was to narrow top to bottom for our skid loader's quick attach plate so it did not sit flat enough for the pins to lock it in place.
