    I have a 58A Beta and an sm58... This I use for gigs that require battery powered amps .. it works wonderfully and nearly rivals it's brother Shure mics! A definite yes for this model!

    Nice looking Mic.

    Response to high's are greater, but I will still stick to the SM58 since when I sing I need the mellow lows and the high's are mellow too. The PGA58 enhances the high much more so anyone who sings with a high scale I think would like it better. I will stick to the SM58's and will purchase more them.
