    Still the streaming king ...IMHO

    I bought this as my first shield product after 1 year of its release. I usually jump on tech trains early but never thought shield was for me. I still believe that if you are an average streamer looking for some basic streaming functionality , there are other affordable 4k options that should work just fine A couple of things drove me to 2019 shield tv pro over everything else: Firstly gigabit ethernet. If you are in a multistoried house where wifi signal is inconsistent this feature will be valuable in some specific scenarios. For eg a 4k HDR Dolby atmos content can have a bitrate much larger than 100mbps ethernet limitations that most competition offers Enhanced AI upscaling : When I heard about it , I thought it was some marketing gimmick. But after trying it , I strongly believe it ...

    Poor Streaming

    The Shield degrades after first app is streamed. I can stream any app well after starting Shield, but when I leave that app and open another Shield is very slow to load and play the app. Sometimes it will never play the second or third app and the screensaver will finally start. It is connected Ethernet along with my ROKU TV. I have eliminated any problem with connection by swapping out ports and cables with my ROKU, which plays flawlessly everyday all day. The Shield does do an excellent job playing video files, better than any box or TV that I have ever used.

    Greatest Product in the Market

    With this box you can get every station you ever dreamed of. Some station or shows you must hunt for. These are streamed by other people. You must buy a Smart TV and I recommend a Sound Bar to enhance the sound to make it really good. Our neighbors had one then we had to have one and they hooked it up...I could never have done it without they're help. It's an amazing box!!! Our neighbors help us when we get in a jam or the internet... needs a manual or instruction book !!!!

    Best set top box hands down. Support all majors streaming services, TV DVR, and Plex. Most of all, its gaming feature is unmatched by the competitors. If you would like to play games, it has GeForce Now (cloud gaming), game stream (local wireless streaming), and tons of emulators for old games.

    Best (Highest Quality) Android Box On The Market

    You can get a cheaper TV box. But you can't get a better one. If all you care about is that it runs great, will last a long time and does everything that every other Android box does, spend the $200 and you will have no regrets. The upscaling feature alone is worth over $100. None of the other Android boxes do this.
