White Blues Rock
Most may know Johnny Lang from his appearance in "Crossroad," where he plaid with the biggies of guitar music from Clapton to ZZ-Top. The song he featured is on this CD as well, and really set's the stage. Whenever he sticks to this style, his songs are honest and greta to listen to. However, there are also two or three tracks from which I don't believe that they really had fun recording them. In summary, however, the CS is worth listening to, just take the not-really-sound-like-Johnny-Lang songs as a display what else he and his band can do ... and enjoy the many other tracks of white blues rock.
