Great adapter!
I purchased this adapter after I bought my PS4, and realized my Turtle Beach P11 Earforce headset was not compatible. This adapter works perfectly to remedy that, and the sound quality is great! Both game sound and chat sound works as they should.

Don't buy it! Read this!
This unit will not work with a PS4 slim! I'm told it won't work with the PS4 Pro either. (Incorrect, the PS4 Pro console does have an optical/Toslink port.) The reason is that the slim console doesn't have an Optical out port, which is needed by this adapter Nowhere does it tell you this. You'll be wasting your money... Unless you have a Launch Edition or Pro.

Plug and play
It says to hook all the cables up. but I only needed to plug my headsets USB and adio jack into it. Then the upgrades USB into the PS4. No toslink required. Which is good since I'm using the toslink jack for my Kor fx Vest dongle.

I made it work!
This item is NOT compatible with the PS4 “slim”, as the PS4 slim does not have a digital optical port. However, I connected the digital optical cord to my TV. But I needed a USB extension cord as well, as the digital optical cord is quite short.
