    Wishin' and Hopin' is nostalgically refreshing.

    I read Wally Lamb's "I Know This Much Is True" first and couldn't put it down. A 900 page book consumed me until I finished it. I love Lamb's style of writing, so I had to read the rest of his books. "She's Come Undone" was fantastic too - hard to believe it was written by a man. Wishin' and Hopin' was a warm, fun, fast read that was slightly predictable. Very refreshing. Brought me back to elementary school - I was right there. Lamb's transforms himself to an elementary school boy in this book and writes it from the boy's view. Wishin' and Hopin' is a light and easy read. `Wendi`

    Although the book was used, it was like new. I felt comfortable giving it as a gift. The price was much less than it would have been to buy a new book from a bookstore.
